ABCD Member Tournament Recap

The season officially started for the members at Newport National Golf Club with the ABCD Member Tournament. On May 18th the weather was great and so were the tournament scores. 24 players participated in this year’s event.

The two leading teams posted a team score of 55, two teams carded scores of 59; and the final two teams in the field carded 65’s.

First Place Honors go out to James Harkness, Bruce Cotta, Dr. Richard Zienowicz and Kathleen Glassie Zienowicz, for scoring 55 and winning the card off.

The Pro Shop staff would also like to recognize the stellar performances by Tom Acciardo, Jerry Shafir, Dr. Richard Munich and Sue Korber, also scoring 55.
